To request a certificate of professional qualification and of the duration of the activity carried out in Italy, the applicable legal reference is Directive 2005/36/EC:
- "administrative cooperation", article 8
- "requirements regarding professional experience", Article 16
- annex VII, paragraph 1, letter C) among the documents that may be requested is a certificate relating to the nature and duration of the activity, issued by the competent authority or body of the Member State of origin or the Member State from which the foreign national comes.
- The Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy therefore issues certificates exclusively for the following business activities:
- Industrial property consultant
- Installation of technological systems
- Motor vehicle repair
- Pest control, rodent control, sanitization
- Intermediation (including real estate agents, for whom the EPC is also an option)
- Commercial agency and representation
- Maritime brokerage
- Freight forwarding
- Hairdressing
- Dry-cleaning and laundry services
- Sale and serving of food products
- Insurance loss adjusters
- Energy certifiers
In compliance with the provision that imposes, from 1 January 2017, the prohibition for Public Administrations to receive paper applications, forms that can be filled in electronically are made available to users, without the need to download them.
