“Italy, Latvia and Luxembourg agree on the need for Europe to push on digital innovation as a boost for growth and job opportunities (on the footsteps of the Digital Agenda 2020) and are committed because the 28 EU countries will share a common view on the package continent connected (TSM) and the Network and Information Security directive (NIS). Italy considers the digital development a priority of its Presidency of the Council of the European Union and will work for Europe to speak with one voice on Internet governance, a commitment that will continue in the forthcoming semesters, under the Latvian and Luxembourg Presidencies”.
Xavier Bettel, prime minister of Luxembourg
